There’s a family who living in a land somewhere in Asia, the Dela Cruz family. Dela Cruz family are religious people. They always worship to God. Mr. and Mrs. Dela Cruz have 3 children; 1 boy and 2 girls. Their son is already married and have 1 daughter. Dela Cruz family are so friendly, they have many friends. Most people saying that they are a perfect family.

One day, a problem came to Dela Cruz family. Mr. and Mrs. Dela Cruz are fighting and wanted to end up their relationship as husband and wife. Their eldest child, their son, decided to pray together with their whole family, and their other children agreed with their son’s idea. Because they believe that prayer can fix everything. And so they prayed together with their parents. After the prayer, Mr. and Mrs. Dela Cruz already fix their problem and decided to remain their relationship stronger.

And the children learned the story that, any problem can be fixed with the help of God through prayers. And they learned also that the family that prays together, stays forever. Because of that, their faith became more stronger about power of the prayer to God.

March 12, 2018 I was in the mall with my dad. We are looking for a dress or any kind of formal clothes for out up coming “Holy Suffer” in our religion. While walking, me and my dad are talking about random stories. In the middle of our conversation, my dad told me “anak may sasabihin ako sayo about your kuya and his girlfriend”. At that moment, I felt a little bit of tense because I can sense that there is something serious happened with my brother and his girlfriend. Until my dad told me that he’s going to be a grandfather and I’m going to be an aunt.

When I heard the news, I was shocked yet happy and excited. Of course, I was shocked because that’s really really unexpected. However, I am excited and happy because I’m going to be an aunt soon.

June 29, 2018; is the day my niece was born. I am so happy the moment I saw her. She’s so beautiful just like her mom and his dad.

I will never forget the day she was born, and the day when I knew that I’m going to be an aunt.

Always expect the unexpected. I’m so grateful to be her aunt, and to have a niece like her. She’s one of the best gift to our family. And she is the plot twist of my 2018.

God gave us a special family,
that we can call our own.
A family that loves us for who we are,
so we would never feel alone.

They may not like everything we do
or everything we say,
but the beautiful thing about family
is that they love us anyway.
